Dumb things the Buffoon has actually said…

I’ve begun keeping a log of some of the dumb things the Buffoon has actually said:

“I’ve been here ’til 6 o’clock every night this week”.
This was said on a Thursday as he headed out the door at 5:30. He must not have remembered that I closed on Monday at 6pm and he had long since left. So at best, he’d been there until 6 two nights that week. How grueling? With those kinds of hours, you’d think he managed a bank that stayed open ’til 6.

“I cain’t get nothin’ done around here”.
It was 4:00 pm and he’d just gotten back after having left at 11:00 am to “get some lunch and try to catch a guy over here I want to call on”. He left at 5:30 pm still puzzled as to when management expected him to get all this work done.

“There was a big managers meeting I missed yesterday, but the email telling everyone about it came while I was out”.
This was on a Friday and he was referencing a meeting he missed the day before on Thursday. While it is true that he was on vacation the prior week when the email was sent, he was implying that either a) he somehow was not responsible for anything conveyed to him while he was away, or b) the fact that he simply hadn’t gotten around to checking the emails he missed was a reasonable explanation.
